Having visited Thornborough for the first time at the weekend I am fully in favour of any ban on ploughing in the area. It is a rich sacred landscape and you only have to look at the difference between the north (wooded) henge and the other two to see what ploughing does. A few acres of land set aside for grazing could protect 5,000 years of magical glory for generations to come.
Thornborough is a wonderful place and I strongly recommend anyone to go and visit.
