Atlantis is not a real place. It was made it up as an illustration of the ideal form of government. The original book recounts that Egyptian priests tell Solon the story of Atlantis which is on the walls of a temple. There is no Atlantis myths in ancient Egypt, the literature of Egypt dose not mention it, the art of Egypt dose not show it and there is no logic to the idea that Egyptians would put such a story on the walls of there temples, which were built and decorated in a standard form that did not change for thousands of years. I have seen the lions carved over the gateway at Mycenae in Greece. I have also seen lions in Bristol zoo. This proves nothing
