The notes for the Hampshire long distance walk "The Brenda Parker Way" state that there is some evidence of the site: "The now ploughed-out Nutbane Long Barrow is through the field gap back on your right, its site only determined by a slight bump and paler soil."

Rodney Castleden's book "Neolithic Britain", Tempus, Stroud gives the dimentions as 55metres by 20 metres.

Contemporary Archaeology in Theory - A Reader edited by R Preucel & I Hodder 1996 published by Blackwell, Maldon has a site plan on page 404.

Megaliths and Long Barrows in Britain by F Lynch 1997 states that " 4 disarticulated skeletons were excavated from the site.
