The photographs show the two cairns with their kists which have parts of the retaining kerbs left. Both the kists have been excavated by Worth and sections of European Beaker pottery were found in the southern kist. What has been discribed as Cremation Circles can be found close to the cairns, two to the eastern side of the northern cairn and one to the western side of the southern.Worth also excavated these and found they had paved floors, where he found some charcoal and underneath he found the evidence of burning. There are the remains of three houses at the foot of the hill close to the Langcombe Brook.
