Also paying NT properties shut down from Nov/Dec to late March; most EH paying properties stay open. It's frustrating not being able to visit so many places in Winter months.
Also EH is far better geared to family events - joining EH is one of the best things we have ever done as a family, and given us HUGE amounts of great days out. The NT just does *not* compare in its attitude and endeavours to impassion and interest the whole family.
We are happy members of both, but EH in terms of what it does for our family wins hands down. If this were to happen, I hope the NT changes instead of taking the EH places and just absorbing them into their seasonal habits.
