I never said anything about an inscription or Celtic people! The native people here had their own traditions of stone work which are just becoming commonly known, although the historical record shows that many writings of Europeans early to the eastern seaboard commented on it.
Have you been to the site and seen the similarly-shaped support stones and how the boulder is seated on them? I agree that dolmen may be the wrong word--maybe flying stone, as it would be called in Finland or the adjacent parts of Russia. But almost certainly manmade.
