We need people like Hancock to ask questions and probe problems where orthodox archaeology dares not go. I respect him because he has freely admitted his mistakes, especialy with regards to the pyramids. The earliest people moving out of Africa would have wandered along the coastlines as food was plentiful and the going a lot easier than inland - all traces of their passing will be deep below present sea levels and their coastlines are now very far out offshore. The same is true of coastal cities and even Cleopatra's Palace is now below the waters of the harbour of Alexandria - and that only dates back 2000 years. Trouble with so many books on the subject is that they all move rapidly away from the very exciting finds that are coming to light and quickly go off to Atlantis. The truth of Atlantis lies in the fact that there were many of them and the many legends have become one big fantasy - one book even puts it beneath the Antarctic ice!
