"West Kennet long barrow (astronomy, dowsing and short acoustic demo with drumming)"

I have drummed many times in the West Kennet long barrow. It completely absorbs me. I have lost all sense of time on several occasions only to be brought back by other visitors entering the long barrow - they always love my drumming and quite often join in. One time I reckon I was 'lost' for 4 hours. Another time we had about 15 people drumming in there. A wild experience that I will never forget. Take a big fat well-tuned djembe and walk up to the long barrow. Start slowly and steady and see where it takes you. The resonance is extreme. Around 125bpm seems to really vibrate.
I have not found a better place to play than this. I think the acoustics may have been designed specifically for percussive sounds. Any other drummers fancy rocking at megalithic sites? I am always up for a serious session.
