This was based on newspaper information from:

Ole Grøn, 56, is a very experienced gentleman in archeology. Following the archaeological exams in 1984, Ole Grøn worked many places on earth - including a period as "rating" archaeologist at Langeland Museum. Among other things, several years of fieldwork in Siberia.

In 2004, Ole Grøn became Professor of Maritime Archaeology at University College London. Here was Ole Grøn until 2006 when he became leader of Langeland Museum.

In recent years, Ole Grøn worked on the development of high-resolution seismic methods for use in marine-archaeological reconnaissance. These methods have Ole Grøn used on several assignments in Denmark and abroad, including in the port of Piraeus in Greece.

Ole Grøn continue to live on Langeland.
