To reach the site walk north along the coastal trail from Porth Mawr (Whitesands Bay) car park and around 100 metres after the track turns west above the third bay (Porth Lleuog) look for a narrow, steep, side trail which heads north up the slope of the hill - this will lead you directly to the site. You need to look carefully for Coetan Arthur as there are lots of rocks laying around the area. I spend some time searching for it as I appraoched from St David's Head and the GPS and Grid Coordinates originally published on this page were out by 50 metres. Also don't be misled by the dot on the on line Ordnance Survey 1:25000 map - the site is to the east of that. I checked the actual position of the site with my hand held GPS and the results are identical to the official Coflein coordinates, and I have amended them on the Map Ref section of this page now.
