I can explain why the grave is called the Henkenstein. I live in Mildum and the area where the grave is belonged to my ancestors. In the past the hole area there was heathland and there was no forest. Our familyname ist Henken. My great-great-grandfather grazed his sheep there, so the area was called Henkens Heide und so the rocks were called the Henkenstein. The name has nothing do to with executing people.
