Re: Druidsfield by golux on Thursday, 19 August 2010

When I visited this site on 15th August 2010, I spoke to the farmer, - a very pleasant friendly chap, - who explained that the two "fake" stones were unearthed when digging the foundations of the large modern byre and set up near the "real" stones as a joke. He revealed that he had a further stone, several times larger, which might make a suitable "recumbent" if he could find a way to move it into position between the other two! Give this man some time (and some serious lifting equipment) and we will have a brand new stone circle yet!

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
