I found the lane to La Taille and the spring OK, and had a look around some of the nearby fields, but found nothing. It wouldn’t surprise me if there was something still to be found, but there are about 38 fields which would fit the description. I think that it would need a lot of time to check all of these fields and hedges here, as there are a great many little fields all surrounded with Normandy Hedges. This is obviously one which needs some local knowledge.
