Another thing to remember for anyone planning a visit is the weather. The usual mountain advice applies,but more so here.I was talking to a local chap,one of very few brave enough to live up here, he told me that in the recent snow he had been stuck for 3 weeks,unable to get in or out.The single track lane is a few miles long and quite steep in places. So if you are coming and the white stuff is forecast,pack a few extra sandwiches,and some clean underwear,you may need them.
