Leading activists in the Church of England, who are behind this missionary push, have already CLEARLY said that they want to use the information that Thomas is collecting via his Church-funded Wiccan studies to help them spread THEIR ‘good’ word. That is the purpose of his close interest in the occult!
Of course, any genuine Pagan with half a brain would realise this already. You don’t have to be a theological genius to know that the Christian Church has one main aim which it spends its financial resources on and that is seeking to evangelise the un-churched masses. Of course Thomas is just doing what his theocratical bosses ask him to do and that is spread the biblical message.
Sadly, many thickos in the pagan movement will fall for this information-collecting based church ploy as they always do. And it benefits that Church to have a nice and friendly activist to fill this particular position.
