I enjoyed reading this book and could understand the sequence of events from the supporting archeological and historical references; with one exception to the reference on page 8 of the book (and reference on page 4 of the website in “Recent Research”), whereby the author suggests that Darwin’s theory was not correct to suggest that the human race evolved over 4 million years from monkeys and apes, I
quote “so is this evidence of a weakest link barking up the wrong tree of human life” I thought was wrong. That is, until I saw the Discovery film called “Discovering ARDI” - whereby a fossilized 4.4 million years old skeletal remains of a (bipedal) female, named Ardipithicus ramidus, was found in a site called Aramis in what is known as the badlands of Ethiopia. Her teeth were small and blunt, suggesting she lived in a hominid social group, possibly partner-bonded with a male which brought high value food to her, while she tended to the family objective. Her hand and fingers were not that of an ape, suggesting this is a specific species of which traits the human race evolved from. Other skeletal remains are being found in this area to be 5.7 million years old, named Ardipithicus Kaddaba, meaning ancient father.
So I take my hat off to the author who anticipated this event.
