We never said anything about "Julius Caesar fighting the Celts there" at all. What we actually said - and this is from the history book - was that he stopped at the source of the River Lea (Wauluds Bank) to water his horses on his way to Ravensburgh, where indeed, he fought the Celts.
If you are going to belittle the efforts of local people to improve local awareness of our history and our sense of belonging etc - then at least get your facts right and have the courtesy not to misquote us.
