Andy, The passage at Corrimony is not aligned to the midwinter sunset, nor is it aligned to the setting minor standstill moon. As shown on my CD ebook and DVD, the watchers of the Dawn, It is in fact aligned to where the sun sets in early February and November, which also mark the times of the Gaelic festivals of Bride and Samhain.
