MOTORISTS in the Yeovil area are being warned that traffic on the A303 at Stonehenge is expected to be very busy this weekend (June 20-21) because of the summer solstice celebrations.
People travelling to Stonehenge are advised to use public transport where possible. There will be a bus service from Salisbury rail station to Stonehenge run by the Wilts & Dorset bus Company throughout the solstice period.
People arriving by car and through traffic on the A303 are advised to allow longer for their journeys.
