Re: Torre d'en Gaumes by glen on Sunday, 10 May 2009

Extensive Talayotic city, covering a hill with commanding views over central Menorca. Much on-going archaeology. By far the most instructive site on the whole island: if you want to see a couple of spectacular megalithic structures, visit the Trepuco taula and the Naveta d'es Tudons instead; but to begin understanding Talayotic culture, Torre d'en Gaumes is the only place. Ritual cave, Talayots, taula enclosure, and vast structured domestic settlement.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
