I only hope this person can secure the return of what remains of this "Royal Burial". It is sad that almost all of what is significant of Native American culture is housed either in New York at the Heye Foundation, Or the Museum of Natural History, or in Washington D.C. at the Smithsonian-mostly sitting in crates-without any information about the find sites, that hardly ever is viewed by the public, It would be my hope that more rules are set by NAGPRA, with enforcement to return many of these artifacts to the localities that can properly house and display them-especially the sites under Native American control.
