Although the Summerford site is the only one appearing on the map in the locale, there are Archaic sites all over the region since this was a major pre-Columbian trade route along the Rio Grande. Look to the petroglyphs at Three Rivers, recent work at Bob John Pueblo in Santa Teresa, and the work around El Paso, Texas as well as other sites in the region.
