I was born in Micklethwaite and lived in Riddlesden until I left for University in the mid-60s. When we walked up to Ilkley Moor we often stopped by Bradup (near Upwood) and looked at the circle. I am not an archaeologist but it always looked convincing to me. So sad to hear its gone.
