This is a big big mistake. Very shortsighted. The Levels are of great archaeological and cultural importance and the Peat Moors Centre did an excellent job of interpreting the landscape. Were the area to become a World Heritage site, as it most definitely should, the Peat Moors Centre would be an enormous asset to the many vistors to the area. Someone is not thinking very clearly when they made this decision.
