Thanks Nick, this is very interesting. So just to clarify. You pick a 'Quantum Unit' which is a proposed unit that the builders could have used. You then try all sizes of this unit to see which fits best in terms of whole units to measure out the diameter of the circle. The value that fits best is 2.72 feet.
What does your graph do at wider scale, at 5.44 feet for example?
