I wonder at the significance of the expression "non-local" in this context. Are we not all "non-local" to some extent or another?

If it's their road, whyever not? This doesn't prevent cyclists using the road in question, as - within reason - they are authorised by the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.

Inadvertently, surely, the previous poster appears to slip into "gangster" terminology and thereby discredits his cause.

Good grief!
In short, "Wake up!". If you want to visit the Colmeallie site on foot, the law is on your side. If you can't be bothered parking the car and walking, the law is not on your side. If you're disabled, and need to drive closer, a responsible and courteous approach to the landowner would be supported by the Code.
Exactly what more do you want?
