The area around Flora, Indiana has a large number of residents who follow the Old German Baptist Brethren religion, a fundamentalist Protestant sect. Although by all accounts friendly and welcoming to the archaeology and paleontology field schools they consider the artifacts must fit the "6000 year old earth" postulated by a literal reading of the Bible.
