Visited yesterday, and there's not one part of British Prehistory on show here now. Rebranded "World Museum Liverpool", the British section starts with a few statues of the Romans, with not even a mention of the Native British even as a necessary prerequisite for something to conquer. Enormously disappointing with The Calderstones just 6.6 km SE. The rest of the museum is superb, don't get me wrong - but for British Prehistoric Culture to be ignored in the European Capital of Culture 2008 is a very unfortunate omission.
Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
