These are the Morrison Stones; this area was the stronghold of the Clan Morrison from approx 8th century onward. Legend has it the stones were used as an execution ground, where the Morrisons would merrily smash in the skulls of the MacAulays, bashing them against the old standing stones.
Easily reached, they are in a small fenced area beside the track from the public road over to Dun Eistein (pron. Dun Eash-dean), a sea-stack dun once occupied by the Morrisons.
