Only 3 comments says a lot about how much people are aware or care about this. It is one of the most important areas in Europe archaeologically speaking with such an immense and diverse range of monuments and associated folk lore. Why then are there not 60 comments here from people incensed by the Irish governments disgusting destruction? Tara seems to have been ignored by all but a few activists (who are camped out there to try to stop the motorway going through the valley).

Andy can you raise the profile of this struggle in any way? I will be in tears if and when the motorway finally goes ripping through the valley. I dare say that the ancient kings of Ireland will also be crying.

Please do anything you can to stop this happening. You are our only hope . . .
