The entire Tara issue is enveloped in corruption. Everyone in power has something to gain from the motorway (most are in some way land owners on the route - how convenient). The Garda don't wear their numbers when they are on site and seem to be controlled by the contractors - so much for police being there for everybody's safety. Local solicitors will not assist the protest (although several really want to) as they think it will cost them business in the future. They have ripped out sections of sacred archaeologically important ground under the cover of darkness without any specialist advice or exploration. Souterrains and cairns have definitely been destroyed before being seen by anyone who can stop it (I know people that have witnessed this).
The whole situation is a giant disgrace to the Irish people - how could you let this happen? Do you not care about your one and only chance to protect your heritage?

So to sum up I have absolutely no surprise that the findings of an independent archaeologist have been falsified by the Irish Government as they have twisted the truth, lied, allowed deception, encouraged corruption and sold their countrymen very short.

I have nothing but utter contempt for them. They make me sick
