Actually we should care about Stonehenge
Much is still a mystery with this neolithic monument
There are several theories as to its' construction, builders and use(s)
The best one I have come up with is that bluestone which was a feat to transport to Salisbury Plains to begin with had a healing effect on those who were inside its' inner rings
So my theory is that Stonehenge no matter who built it, why they built it was also a sanctuary for the terminal ill and worse
Therefore in addition to being a solar calendar and a megalithic portal our beloved Stonehenge may have also served as a sacred necropolis
Changing or refacing these massive stones may erase timeless evidence and their mystical power that could be analyzed in place or in small amounts by blokes who bloody well know what they're doing and care about builders' history and beyond
