Re: Well found in dolmen in Antequera, Spain by Anonymous on Tuesday, 05 February 2008

Well its hard to say first of all when the carvings where done, but one is definitely the symbol of Neptune, the star below is the remains of a star fish fossil, which would have most definitely been chosen, whether to depict the star representing Venus would be just speculation. Then we have the standard cross a bit further along. i feel the key is the female head of the mountain with which the dolmen is purposely aligned.this of course is something that cannot meddled with. It seems like a temple dedicated to life, with the well in its center and mother earth ahead. Any other ideas?
