It was me who gave the alternative ideas about Megailthic measure. I have mixed feelings about my ideas being displayed. Those concerned with the book can read it and then please remove it. It serves the interests of neither side. You can display this.
The relationship with Roman is mathematically correct, however so are my ideas. All these systems interlock with each other and all the relationships are mathematically consistent. I believe that the 5/2 MY length is a measure and that it is a unit of area. A circle of radius 2MY will have an area of approximately 2sq units. However this use has nothing to do with the Roman connection.
It is my view that the Roman Foot came with Bronze Age peoples towards the end of the megalithic period. The two systems may then have been used in conjunction. However I believe that megalithic measure already existed.
Could I do an article with diagrams for your website on the relationship between Megalithic and these other systems. This can be treated as connections additional to your findings and not necessarily contradictory. This will show a wider picture and may provide new insights.
My study covers measure from all around the world not just megalithic however should you ever decide that my information is useful please acknowledge me. I have linked together the research of Berriman and Thom.
