Reminds me of the Saxon employment as mercenary troops by the Celtic Britons. Started peacefully, until a Celt chief held back on wages. The Saxons called in others from across the channel, and finished up owning England. 1500 years later the Welsh still remember, but the US Amerindians don't have as much territory as Wales (and don't have their own football team to play against Paleface).
