The knocknagael boar once stood 3 miles South of Inverness, at NH657413, but was moved for conservation purposes in 1991.
It now lives in the Regional Highland Council headquarters, Glenurqhart rd, Inverness - It sits in the foyer, accesible during office hours.
A huge cI pictish boar, with ornate curved markings - much like the famous Burghead bulls, or the famed Ardross wolf..
It is beneath a large weathered double disc symbol, the left disc, now completely worn away.
