I do think you are onto something, but isn't taking the 'at' from 'Maat' ='Ma'.....I agree, so much is lost in spelling and dialects etc.

What about Charismas??.......it is easy to see where the word Christmas could have originally come from and meant before it was turned into a political/religious plot..

The time for charity and good deeds......imagine for a moment, if indeed, 'Charismas' was the original term for Christmas, the celebration at the equinox for the earth mother (ma). The celebration of the fruits of the earth and fertility, charity, and good deeds from mother Earth.....
