If walking from the Lich Way and Langstone to visit the stone circle beware. There is no direct path between the two, and it looks like the ground is very wet and marshy, and may contain some deep mire, even at the end of August.
I decided it was not wise to even attempt to go directly to the circle, and first headed off to the west along a reasonable pathway before turning south to the circle from a position almost directly to its north.
