Re: Holy Well (Cefn Bryn) by PAB on Wednesday, 04 July 2007

The RCAHM site has this entry which might be what you are after: Location
Map reference: SS49SE
Grid reference: SS49769003
Community: Llanrhidian Lower
Council: Swansea
Old County: Glamorgan
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Site Description

Site Description:
There are notices of a curative well on Cefn Bryn, at which pins were offered. The spring recorded here is a "bubbling well" set within a modern wall, with a heap including shaped stones to the S possibly indicating the presence of a former structure. No evidence is given to connect the walled spring, which functions as reservoir feeder, with the notices of a pin-well.
