what we all try and is very difficult as landscape can capture us, yet the camera tends to capture a 2d version. i too have been taking photo's for many years, and have found that the old 'anaglpyh' (red and blue glasses) style brings a 3d feel so you can see the depth of field. Almost touch it! yet this can strain your eyes after a while (though i continue to capture as many ancient sites as poss in this format) theres also 'Lenticular' but that can become quite expensive. I feel theres a whole world to photography(as you have above said and only just scratched the surface1) , and as digital is becoming more readily available more doors open to combine. Digital cameras can stich several pics to form panaramic views inside its own camera. and thats on basic digital cameras. the futures bright, but i still prefer film! and infared, and anaglyph, and lithograph, and night photography involving loooong exposures........ wow what fun.
And seeing all the pics up in this 'comp' everyones has had fun. We're all winners as i daily enjoyed viewing them
