Re: Petersfield Heath Ba by Jimit on Tuesday, 02 March 2004

I found this a delightful site, the little sandy heath has groups of trees, woodland groves, open grassy areas , a cricket pitch encircled by barrows and a beautiful lake. There are so many monuments here that it is quite a piece of detective work to locate them all. Their condition varies, some are well preserved while others are more damaged, probably due to the type of material they are made from. Disabled access is excellent as much of the site is relatively flat with grass paths and there is a Millennium Walk laid out around the lake.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
