come back from trefignath toward trearddur then take a left towards the alluminium plant. on your right there should be a foot path accross a rock outcrop. when just over the top of the rock outcrop look to your left theres quitea big wooded area. head toward this wooded area and in the edge of te woods you will find two upright stones and one lying on the floor almost like an alter. i dont know what this is i have never seen it on any map+ i think the wood officially belongs to aam. when i was growing up there was stories of witchcraft in this area and some sheep were found hung upside down with their throats cut! also interesting is if you make your way straight to the inland sea from here you are faced with ynys leurad which is not far from the village of valley. on this island are the remains of several stone huts/round houses. does anybody know anything more about these local features?
