Accessing Barbrook 4 by TimPrevett on Monday, 19 February 2007

When cutting through the birch wood from the east to access here, be warned that many of the trees are rotting upright. We had a close shave on Saturday when leaning against one of the trees and it collapsed just scraping someone's hand. Gentle prods of other trees yielded similar effects, so be careful. It must also be noted that the birch which used to surround the monument for some way has now receeded, leaving the landscape much changed than several years ago.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
