Re: Week Down by RingPaw on Friday, 03 November 2006

3-barrow cemetery, just to the south-west of the bridleway that runs along the ridge of Week and Stenbury Downs. A southern barrow, furthest from the bridleway, is the largest, partially covered by gorse bushes. Across the valley to the north is situated the cemetery on Luccombe Down; the lone barrow of 'Lowtherville' is about 500m to the east. The barrows are on private land - you need to duck under the sheep fence for a closer look, although the mounds are visible from the bridleway.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
