I'd been resisting adding this site, because all the evidence suggests that the real site of the holy well was actually elsewhere, and I was getting the material I needed to show this together -- it's an interesting hypothesis. I now think I've found it on an old map, exactly in the other place the charters suggest. I suppose I'd better hurry up now!
