Hello, As I read this far away in USA, but am English I seem to recal soooooo much countryside surrounding Stone Henge! How come they gotta put railway tracks so close to people's homes when there must be wide open spaces left still to this day, where there are no dwellings, and thus it would not be a problem to place trains there? Of course the answer is simple......a straight road, the clostest route, is the cheapest one, but devalues the integrity of the National Trust etc and what it stands for in my opnion.
