If you want to visit go outside of school hours and park in the tiny school carpark, or if you like a longer walk park in the Castlebrook inn and walk through the fields! If you take the route up the hill through the woods you might find the holy well, the woods are called Holwell Woods, when its running its very magical, the water comes from a little cave in a mound, you can hear it trickling inside. The spring used to be much fuller until it was tapped underground in the last century by a local farm and now only runs when the weather has been wet. Look out for pentacles and other strange carvings on the surrounding trees! The earthworks on top of the hill are very sharp and clear in places, though not terribly high. There is quite a large flat area on top now the pine trees have been cleared by the NCC.
The little church in the village has a yew tree in its yard that is at least 1000 years old, worth a visit too, you can get inside its hollow trunk.
