Re: Well found in dolmen in Antequera, Spain by Anonymous on Thursday, 25 May 2006

I visited this place yesterday, and was blown away by it.. wow.

Facts printed on the sites posters outside the dolmen said something other than what you printed. 150 tons and the well was 19.55 metres deep. But i must admit, it seemed much deeper, and it might be aswell. -i don't know how far they've come in in the excavation when the poster was printed.

Just the sight of that very nice round hole, straight down in the bedrock blew my mind. And the stones, my god they where big. Especially the inner most "roof tile". It was huuuge, and how thick was hard to say, maybe a meter or two. I took about 500 pics of the place, i might show you some when i get back to norway. The cross and venus symbol in the entrance was easy to see and not covered or removed in any way. But theese might have been made in later times since they are scratched into the surface of the stone. But moving those stones more than 1 km and putting them up like that in the late stone age is insanely hard to imagine. Even moving them today is a great achievement. So.. who? how? why? when? As you mentioned, the stone outside showing how they moved them was just stupid. I can't be done in that way..
The opening faces directly towards the mountain Pena de los Enamorados. It's impossible to not see it when you sit inside watching out.

Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
