Finest of Aomori's peculiar style, "Ōishi Bugaku-ryū (大石武学流), gardens. Originally built for the house of a farmer-millionaire Moriyoshi SEIDŌ (清藤盛美) in 1901. At that time, Japanese millionaires used to built their residential house in traditional Japanese style and a guesthouse in modern Western style for noble visitors but Moriyoshi put his guesthouse on his residential house. This eccentric hybrid house is rumoured as a model of the dwarves' rented house in Studio Ghibli's 2010 animation film "The Borrower Arrietty".

Open 9:00-17:00 (mid Apr.-Sep., reduced in winter), closed on the days around the New Years Day, Admission : 500 Japanese Yen (2024 price).
