Burial Chamber (Dolmen) in Cataluña

It is the remains of a rectangular megalithic tomb, formed by vertical slabs and one horizontal as a cover.

When an archaeological intervention began, in 1995, it lacked the roof slab and the slab of the head and the foot were conserved in situ, as well as the four sides. The excavation meant the emptying of the tomb and the surrounding area, and ceramic and lithic materials (flint) were collected.

This structure is placed chronologically in the Neolithic half, Solsonian facies. It can be included within the type of boxes or vertical burial cycles.

After the excavation came to restoration; vertical slabs were secured and a horizontal slab cover was placed.

To get to this place you have to take the LV-3002, direction Cardona-Solsona. After crossing the town of Su, and before reaching the Sanctuary of the Miracle, we must take the detour that leads to Sant Just de Ardèvol on the left. The tomb appears 1 km away, to the left of the road, before a road that goes to the right.
